The short version
We collect the information needed to run the store: your name, email, phone number, shipping and billing addresses, order details, and the messages you send us. We use it to fulfill orders, ship and track parcels, answer you, prevent fraud, and keep the records the law requires. We never see or store your full card number — payment goes through Shopify and its payment processors. We do not sell your personal information.
What happens to Elena's address?
Her address goes to exactly three places: our order system (Shopify), the carrier that delivers the parcel (UPS, or USPS for PO Box / APO / FPO / territory orders), and our own order records. It is used to print the shipping label, to deliver the parcel, and to handle any return or support question about that order. It is not sold, not rented, and not handed to advertisers. When the legal retention period for the order ends, the record is deleted.
What we collect, and why
| Information | Why we collect it |
|---|---|
| Name | To address your order, label your parcel, and talk to you like a person |
| Email address | Order confirmations, tracking, return updates, support replies |
| Phone number | Carrier delivery issues and urgent order questions only |
| Shipping and billing addresses | To ship your order and to process payment correctly |
| Order details (items, quantities, prices, dates) | Fulfillment, returns, refunds, and tax records |
| Messages you send us | To answer you and to keep a record of what we promised |
| Basic site usage (pages visited, device type) | Only if analytics is enabled, to keep the site working and improve it |
What we do not collect
We do not collect or store full card numbers, CVV codes, or bank login details. Payment is handled by Shopify and its payment processors on their own secure pages. We do not collect government ID numbers, health information, or precise location data. We do not buy data about you from data brokers.
Who we share information with
- Shopify — our store platform. It processes orders, stores order records, and powers checkout.
- Payment processors (including Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay where you choose them) — they take your payment securely. They see the payment details you enter; we do not.
- UPS and USPS — they receive your name, shipping address, and phone number (where needed for delivery) so they can deliver and track your parcel.
- Our email provider — used to send order confirmations, tracking, and support replies.
Every one of these recipients gets only the information it needs to do its job. We do not share your information with advertisers, and we do not sell it.
Cookies
The site uses essential cookies that make the cart and checkout work — without them, items would vanish from your cart between pages. If analytics is enabled, the site may also set optional analytics cookies that count visits and show which pages people use. You can decline or clear cookies in your browser settings; the cart and checkout may work less smoothly without the essential ones, but the site will not block you from browsing.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you. Email business@Tailwell.shop with your request. We reply within 30 days. We may need to check your identity first — usually by confirming the email address on the order — so we do not hand your information to someone pretending to be you. If a request cannot be fully granted (for example, tax law requires us to keep an order record), we will tell you which part we must keep and why.
California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the selling or sharing of it. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can submit a request by emailing business@Tailwell.shop. You can also authorize an agent to submit a request for you; we will ask for proof of that authorization. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights — no price changes, no degraded service, no refusal to serve you.
How long we keep information
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, then deleted. Support messages are kept for a reasonable period so we can answer follow-up questions about the same order, then deleted. If you ask us to delete your information, we delete everything the law allows us to delete and tell you about anything we must retain.
Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and no product on this site is marketed to children. If you believe a child has shared information with us, email us and we will delete it promptly.
Security
Access to order information is limited to the people who need it to run the store. Checkout runs over encrypted connections through Shopify. No system is perfectly secure, and if we ever learn of a breach affecting your information, we will tell you what happened, what was involved, and what we are doing about it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version is posted here with a new effective date. Material changes — changes to what we collect or who we share it with — will be described in the updated policy so you can see what changed. The version in force is always the one on this page.
